From October 9 to 12, Efort proudly participated in the 34th edition of BI-MU, the international exhibition dedicated to machine tools, robotics and automation held in Milan. The event was an important opportunity to present our solutions for industrial automation and collaborative robotics, attracting the attention of a wide audience of industry professionals.
At our booth, visitors were able to discover some of Efort Group’s innovations applied to key sectors such as general industry and painting. Among the most popular demonstrations, we displayed a beam-picking system, which uses a robot to recognize parts inside bins and assemble them into the structure of an automotive component. We also presented an innovative system with spindle changers and electric electrospindles, designed for mechanical deburring of components.
Another significant feature of our booth was our offline system, which enables the automatic creation of robotic programs from 3D drawings, improving efficiency and precision in manufacturing processes. Visitors were also able to see the advanced painting system equipped with VR Tracking, which allows the operator to manually simulate painting paths using a joystick, and then transmit the program to the robot, which automatically executes the cycle.
During the show, we also highlighted our collaboration with SM System, which integrates our robots into beam-picking applications, and our Robox division, which specializes in the development of advanced electronic systems, drives, and multi-axis management for robots. This internal group collaboration contributed to the controller used in our systems.
Participation in BI-MU 2024 was an outstanding opportunity to show how Efort continues to push the boundaries of industrial automation, offering integrated solutions for different sectors, from automotive to woodworking, ceramics and plastics. Special thanks to everyone who visited us and contributed to the success of this event.
